APPLICATION FOR VETERANS EDUCATIONAL ENTITLEMENT
– Chapter 30 (Montgomery GI Bill)
This benefit is for those veterans who served on an
active duty after June 30, 1985 (Category I), those
who had remaining entitlement under the Vietnam Era
GI Bill (Category II), and those who switched from VEAP
before being involuntarily separated after February
2, 1991 (Category III).
Active duty persons who contributed
to the Montgomery GI Bill (Chapter 30)
should have the member 4 copy of the DD Form 214 for
submission along with the Application for Educational
Entitlement (VA Form 22-1990). Submit the 22-1990, DD-214
and your VA Form 22-1999 (Obtained from the school Admissions
Office) to the Veterans Administration Miscogee Okla,

APPLICATION FOR Vocational
Rehabilitation Benefits - Chapter 31 EDUCATIONAL ENTITLEMENT
Applicants for the Vocational Rehabilitation
Benefits (Chapter 31) must have a VA Disability Rating
of 20 percent or higher and should complete the Disabled
Veterans Application for Vocational Rehabilitation,
obtained from your VA representative. The VA will make
payments directly to the school for tuition and fees.

VEAP/Veterans Educational
Assistance Program - Chapter 32
This benefit is for those veterans
who served between the Vietnam GI Bill Era and the Montgomery
GI Bill era. Generally, between January 1977 and June

Survivor's and Dependent's
Educational Assistance - Chapter 35
This benefit is for surviving spouses
and children of veterans who died of a service-connected
death, surviving spouses and children of veterans who
died as a result of a service-connected disability,
or for surviving spouses and children of a veteran with
a permanent service-connected disability.

GI forum BENEFITS
This benefit is for those veterans
who served on an active duty during a campaign era.
This is a supplemental veteran benefit. Application
is through American GI Forum, 301 W 13th Street, Fort

Change to Survivor's and
Dependent's Educational Assistance – Chapter 35
If you are already receiving benefits
under Chapter 35 and are changing schools or majors,
submit the Request for Change of Program or Place of
Training Survivors’ and Dependents’ Education Assistance

GI Bill - Chapter 1606
Applicants for the Reserve Guard
Montgomery GI Bill (Chapter 1606) should submit a DD
Form 2384, Notice of Basic Eligibility (NOBE), Selected
Reserve Educational Assistance Program, with the Application
for Educational Entitlement (VA Form 22-1990).
